Mediation is a way of resolving disputes between two or more parties with concrete effects.

The mediator assists the parties to negotiate a settlement. Disputants may mediate disputes in a variety of domains, such as commercial, legal, workplace, community and family matters.

The advantages of mediating a dispute are:

  • Reducing legal costs by settling a matter early.
  • A better ongoing relationship between parties. This is particularly important where parties have an ongoing relationship whether because of related business, workplace or commercial interests, or community and social networks.
  • The matter is dealt with privately and not court
  • The costs are significantly less than legal fees and litigation
  • Mediation can occur at any time without the parties having to endure the long wait lists often associated with court dates

At Resolution Partners, our mediators are Nationally Accredited.
